Fillings

When a tooth has cavities, we recommend restoring the tooth using a dental filling to seal the cavity and help preserve the structure of the tooth. We recommend restoring the tooth with resin. The resin is worked to the colour of the tooth, creating a pleasant cosmetic restoration.

Root canal treatment

A root canal is needed when the nerve of a tooth has become damaged by injury or infected by decay and requires the removal of the inner tissue to save the tooth and restore it to its natural function.

Restorative dentistry

Crowns

When a tooth is heavily decayed, cracked or fractured, we suggest a dental crown to cap the affected tooth. A dental crown will provide structural strength for a fragile tooth and is often essential in the long preservation of the tooth.

Bridges

A bridge is a ceramic or metal prosthesis used to replace one or multiple missing teeth. It uses adjacent teeth as support to span the empty space of the missing tooth.

Dentures

Dentures help replace missing teeth with “non-fixed” custom-made appliances that can be removed from the mouth at the patient’s own discretion and at any time, without the need for the dentist's intervention.

Dentures are for patients needing to repair all teeth in the upper and/or lower arch of the mouth, providing improved esthetics by replacing the missing teeth in the mouth, and improved overall function for eating and speech.

Partial denture: helps to replace one or few missing teeth.

Inlay or onlay

Inlays and onlays are a form of indirect restoration, which means they are made outside of the mouth as a single, solid piece that fits the specific size and shape of the cavity, and then cemented in place in the tooth.
